US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. This position is a TERM position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. This Definition of Specialized Experience is typical of word performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Specialized experience is defined as:
Identifying artifacts to cataloging museum artifacts properly to ensure cataloging, maintenance in museum artifacts; Recommending collection policy and interpretative programs. Assisting the curator in planning and rearranging storage spaces, exhibits, and displays. OR I have successfully completed 1 full academic year of related graduate level education or superior academic achievement leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Museum Study or History. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
