If you are a current Army employee, this position will be filled from employees eligible for temporary promotion, temporary reassignment or temporary change to lower grade. Position may be filled as a temporary promotion, temporary reassignment, or temporary change to lower grade NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions, reassignments, or change to lower grades may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 months, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. All applicants must meet one of the following:
completed/achieved a Bachelor's degree in accounting, or in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business law. (Transcripts must be provided.) OR Combination of education and
Experience:
Have at least four (4) years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. Your background must include one of the following:
(1) Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality. (This can include up to 6 hours of business law.) (Transcripts must be provided) or (2) A certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination (Documentation must be provided) ; or (3) Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing, e.g., 15 semester hours, but that does not fully satisfy the 24-semester-hour requirement of the A response to this question, provided that (a) you have successfully worked at the full-performance level in accounting, auditing, or a related field, e.g., valuation engineering or financial institution examining; (b) a panel of at least two higher level professional accountants or auditors have determined that you have demonstrated a good knowledge of accounting and of related and underlying fields that equals in breadth, depth, currency, and level of advancement that which is normally associated with successful completion of the 4-year course of study described in Response A; and (c) except for literal nonconformance to the requirement of 24 semester hours in accounting, your education, training, and experience fully meet the specified requirements. Specialized Experience Required:
In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement, listed above, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled including:
Researching applicable laws, directives, and other regulatory material to conduct audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Drafting audit reports within established guidelines and providing recommendations to correct deficiencies found within audit reports; Preparing Audit Plans for a large organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). If you are a current Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet the time-in-grade requirement. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
