Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. GS-12 specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as:
Provides assistance on the administration, implementation and oversight of EEO programs; Evaluates EEO programs and identifies problem areas; Analyzes EEO actions on a wide range of issues (such as dispute resolution, cultural diversity, special employment/emphasis programs, under-representation and affirmative employment). Advanced understanding of the EEO complaint process in its entirety, including the ability to process a complaint in accordance with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. Well versed in all EEO applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). GS-13 specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as:
developing and implementing an effective EEO program; interpreting EEO regulations and laws to advise management on EEO related issues; conducting visits to organizations to ensure they are in compliance with EEO directives; process EEO complaints from cradle to grave; tracks, monitors and ensures actions are in compliance with merit system and EEO objectives; and advising employees and senior leaders on EEO related issues/concerns. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). -For the GS-12, must have 52 weeks at the GS-11 (or equivalent) -For the GS-13, must have 52 weeks at the GS-12 (or equivalent) If you are a current, Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet time-in-grade requirement. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
